As an elementary school teacher I know my younger students would love this book. This illustrations are fun and bright. My students love guessing what comes next and this would be a great introduction to rhyming.

My Name is Jake is a beautifully illustrated book about a young boy named Jake. Each page shows Jake engaged in an activity that rhymes with his name. Young readers will love to guess what rhyming word will show up next. Beginning readers will have a chance to guess at the rhyming word based on the picture.
