Happy 2014! I hope everyone had a wonderful 2013 and I’m looking forward to a great 2014. The past year has been great for my blog. I got a new design, a brand new header, joined Instagram, have gotten a lot more followers on all my social media, my stats have been much higher then previous years, and I hit my 1000th post. This year I’m hoping to hit 1 million page views, move my blog to WordPress, and keep generating more original recipes.
To celebrate the beginning of 2014 I wanted to share with you my 10 most popular posts from 2013 as well as my 3 favorite books of the year. Now my 3 favorite books aren’t from 2013, but they are ones I read in 2013.
I’m surprised that this year I have more savory recipes on the list then sweet! I’m also happy to report that 2 of my top 10 are original recipes. Three of my top posts were actually round up posts so I excluded those to generate 10 recipes. Also surprising this year is that out of the 106 books I read, I only rated 7 of them as 5-star which is much lower then in previous years.
