Well here I am, halfway through my 30’s. How did it come so fast? I’m 35 years old today and for the first time in a long time I feel my age on my birthday. The past year has been filled with a lot of ups and downs both personally and at work but overall it was a good year. My husband and I were able to take a trip to Charleston, SC in the winter and made a trip to Orlando, FL this summer. We celebrated our 5 wedding anniversary this summer as well.
I started off my birthday yesterday with my parents coming down to visit and taking me out to lunch. It was a fun day and it was nice to see them so close to my birthday. Usually I see them a few weeks before so this was an unexpected surprise. Today my husband is taking me out to dinner which will be great as well. Two days filled with the people I love most in the world. Sounds like 35 is starting off pretty good.
When I made my list of things to make and do last year I put in a lot of vague things like 3 beverages or 2 sandwiches and I’ve decided that I’m going to do that again. Last year I accomplished 25 of my 34 while 34 list and was close to finishing 3 others which I don’t think is too bad! While there are some very specific things on my list, a lot of my list is just a number of vague things to do. I think this pushes me to make more new recipes then I would otherwise.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy reading my 35 while 35 list. Cheers!
