Brown Butter Salted Caramel and Chocolate Cookies

A twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie using brown butter, brown sugar, and Nestle Toll House Caramel Filled DelightFulls.
  • 2 sticks salted butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 2¼ c. flour
  • ½ t. baking powder
  • ½ t. baking soda
  • 1 t. sea salt
  • ½ t. nutmeg
  • 2 c. caramel Nestle Toll House DelightFulls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a medium skillet heat the butter over medium heat. Once it has melted swirl the pan around until the butter starts to foam. Stir the butter until you see it begin to brown and it begins to smell nutty. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the browned butter, brown sugar, and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well to combine.
  4. Stir in the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  5. In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  6. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
  7. Fold in the caramel Nestle Toll House DelightFulls.
  8. Drop the cookies on a cookie sheet by heaping tablespoons. Space them out 3 inches apart.
  9. Bake the cookies for 11 minutes or until they are lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
