Malt M&M's Easter Cookies

Try a festive Easter cookie made with chocolate chips and pastel malt M&M's Easter eggs!
  • ¾ c. butter, softened
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • ¼ c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 t. salt
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 1½ c. flour
  • 2 c. malt M&M's speckled eggs
  • ½ c. mini chocolate chips
  1. In a large bowl cream the butter, brown sugar, and sugar.
  2. Add in the egg and vanilla and stir well.
  3. In a medium bowl combine the salt, baking powder, and flour. Mix to combine.
  4. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the the M&M's and chocolate chips.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  8. Scoop large tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets leaving 2-3 inches in between each cookie.
  9. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until just brown.
  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before removing to a cooling rack to cool completely.
