White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies #CreativeCookieExchange

Bite into a soft cookie studded with sweet white chocolate chips and buttery macadamia nuts.
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 c. brown sugar, lightly packed
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 2½ c. flour
  • ½ t. baking soda
  • 1 t. salt
  • ½ t. nutmeg
  • 1½ c. white chocolate chips
  • ¾ c. macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
  3. Add in the eggs and beat until smooth. Mix in the vanilla.
  4. In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Mix well to combine.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips and nuts. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  7. Spoon heaping tablespoons onto baking sheets 3 inches apart. Bake for 10-13 minutes or until the cookies are firm.
  8. Remove from over and allow to cool for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
