Baked Apples with Caramel and Chocolate

Delicious Baked Apples filled with caramel and chocolate then topped off with whipped cream.
  • 3 apples
  • 3 T. caramel bits
  • 3 T. chocolate chips
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1 t. sea salt
  • whipped cream
  • caramel sauce
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cut the apples in half and scoop out the core.
  3. Place apples in the dish and fill each one with ½ tablespoon of caramel bits. Bake for 15 minutes or until the caramel is melted.
  4. Top each apple with ½ tablespoon of chocolate chips then sprinkle with cinnamon and sea salt.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes or until the chocolate is melted.
  6. Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.
  7. Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce if desired.
