If you love pizza you'll love these easy Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
  • 1 T. butter
  • 4 slices of Italian bread
  • ½ c. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 t. oregano
  • 1 t. garlic powder
  • 4 T. marinara sauce
  • 16 slices of pepperoni
  1. Place a skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Butter all 4 slices of bread. Place two slices in the pan.
  3. Top each slice of bread with 2 or 3 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese, a sprinkle of oregano and garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce, then 8 slices of pepperoni.
  4. After the pepperoni divide the remaining cheese between the two sandwiches and sprinkle with the remaining oregano and garlic powder. Top with remaining slices of bread.
  5. Allow the sandwich to cook for about 3 minutes then carefully flip over. Cook on the other side for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is browned.
  6. Remove from pan, slice in half, and serve with additional marinara sauce for dipping.
