Smokey Spiced Nuts

Combine your favorite nuts with this sweet, spicy, and smokey combination of flavors for an awesome snack!
Ingredients
  • 2 c. raw mixed nuts
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1 t. chile powder
  • 1 t. paprika
  • ½ t. dry mustard
  • 1 T. sea salt
  • ½ t. black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.
  2. Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put the nuts on top and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat.
  3. In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, chile powder, dry mustard, paprika, sea salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Sprinkle over top of the nuts and toss to coat.
  5. Bake the nuts for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown. Make sure to stir them once or twice during the cooking time.
  6. Remove from oven and cool completely. Store in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
