Mardi Gras Monkey Bread

Cinnamon and sugar Monkey Bread topped with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles!
  • 2 cans refrigerated Cinnamon rolls
  • ⅓ c. sugar
  • ⅓ c. butter, melted
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • ¼ c. cream cheese frosting
  • ¼ c. Fat Tuesday Sprinkle Mix (from Sprinkle Pop)
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a Bundt pan with baking spray and sprinkle it with flour.
  3. Open both cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into 6 pieces.
  4. Place the sugar in a large zip top baggie. Add in the cinnamon roll pieces. Zip shut and shake well.
  5. Pour the cinnamon roll pieces into the Bundt pan making sure they evenly fill the pan.
  6. In a small bowl combine the melted butter and cinnamon. Pour over top of the cinnamon rolls.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and cool for 10-15 minutes. Run a butter knife around the edges and turn onto a plate.
  9. Place the cream cheese frosting in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 10-15 seconds.
  10. Place in a zip top baggie and cut off the end. Drizzle over top of the cake.
  11. Quickly sprinkle the frosting with the Fat Tuesday Sprinkle Mix.
  12. Slice into pieces and enjoy!
