One more week of school! After one of the craziest years of teaching ever I have just one more week left in the school year. It's been a long one and this week I'm taking it easy on dinner. That means I'm looking for easy recipes that don't take too long to make.
I know a lot of people turn on their air conditioners in the summer so they are fine to turn on the oven and heat up the kitchen but we don't have air. That means I have to rely on our ceiling fans to do the work. Usually we use the stove top or grill out.
Now that we have an Air Fryer we use that a lot too because it doesn't put out much heat. The Instant Pot and Slow Cooker are the same. These small appliances, as well as our grill, get a great workout in our house during the summer.
We also look for recipes that are either cooked on the stove top or just need to be assembled. So this week my recipes are to help keep you from heating up your house this summer.
For entrees I'm sharing a tasty wrap that's great for lunch or dinner, a quick pork chop recipe, a grilled burger, and a quick stir fry. I've got a fun red, white, and blue potato salad for a side dish. There's also a salad in a jar which can be used as an entree or a side dish and is great for eating on the go.
Red, white, and blue ice cream sandwiches are a super easy and fun dessert recipe. Then we have a no churn ice cream recipe and a popsicle cupcake that kids will adore.
Finally, I'm finishing up with my bonus recipes. I've got two great beverage recipes including frozen hot chocolate and blueberry mojitos. Then I'm sharing a rainbow roll that doesn't require any cooking at all.
So grab a notepad and a pen or get ready to Pin your favorite recipes for this week.
