I received meals from Nutrition For Longevity Ready Made Meals but all opinions are 100% my own.
I don’t know about you but over the last year I’ve been having some serious cooking fatigue. Being in the house more than usual, not eating out, and having to cook 2-3 meals a day, everyday, has gotten me to a point where some weeks I don’t want to meal plan or cook.
With Nutrition for Longevity prepackaged meals I didn’t have to worry about meal planning, shopping, prepping, or cooking meals. I simply had to heat and serve the meals that were shipped right to my door!
While many prepackaged meals contain ingredients I can’t pronounce and are anything but healthy I don’t have to worry about that here. These meals have the same precision nutrition with calorie ranges and macro ranges from The Longevity Diet to support a healthy lifestyle, but all the work is already done for you by one of their Registered Dietitians and in-house Chefs. All of the meals are sealed in BPA and Phthalate free recyclable trays. Each is individually sealed so you can eat the salads fresh or heat and eat the breakfasts and dinners.
If you aren’t ready to eat the meals now they can be frozen and enjoyed later on. All these meals are gluten free and plant-forward to help you get the needed fiber, fruits and vegetables. Plus you can choose between vegan or pescatarian options.
I was super excited to try out the meals because I’ve been in such a rut. I chose three days where I had to work and I knew my husband was busy as well. For breakfast we had oatmeal, an oatmeal bar, and a wrap. The oatmeal bar and oatmeal both had fruit with them and they were both hearty and kept us full until lunchtime.
For lunch there were a variety of salads. I like that the salads had something in them to make them hearty. One had noodles, one had forbidden rice, and one had quinoa. All three were really tasty, were packed with vegetables, and had great dressings. We liked the lunch salads the best out of these meals.
Since we got the pescatarian meals all three dinners had shrimp or fish. I had the haddock with stir fried veggies in a tangy sauce and my husband had the shrimp paella. Both were really flavorful and surprisingly filling. I was happy with the amount of food and the vegetable selection in each of the bowls.
If you are looking for a healthy option of prepackaged fresh meals then Nutrition For Longevity Ready Made Meals are the perfect choice!
