I don’t know about you but I love getting flowers. Whenever they show up at work everyone looks around trying to figure out who is receiving them and who sent them. This past school year I got flowers 2 times and both times it was an amazing feeling. Besides receiving flowers I almost always send my mom flowers for her birthday or Mother’s Day. We also send flowers to family members to brighten their day.
Flowers are a great way to cheer someone up or make them feel special. The one thing I don’t like about sending flowers is the price. I usually choose a bouquet well within my price range, but after tax and shipping I’m often $20-$25 over my price range. This is where The Bouqs come in.
I first saw The Bouqs on an episode of Shark Tank. After hearing the concept both my husband and I thought it was a great idea. The idea is simple. The Bouqs own their own flower farm and grow their flowers on the side of an active volcano with rich soil. All bouquets are cut to order so there is no waste and no middle man which means a beautiful and fresh bouquet at a flat cost to consumers.
That’s the other cool thing. Every bouquet from The Bouqs is $40. That’s $40 with shipping included. If you want to double the amount of blooms all you have to do is add an additional $10. It’s such a great concept and the flowers are beautiful.
As you know I’ve been really hitting the red, white, and blue foods in the past few weeks to get ready for the 4th of July. I made a Red, White, and Blue Fruit tart, a Red, White, and Blue no bake cheesecake, and tomorrow I’m sharing vegan Red, White, and Blue scones! Along with my red, white, and blue foods I’ve been looking for something to brighten up my table. For the 4th of July The Bouqs are bringing back their Red, White, and Bouq bouquet which is a fresh bunch of red, white, and blue roses.
Are you going to a party this 4th of July? The Red, White, and Bouq would be a wonderful hostess gift or just a beautiful way to decorate your own BBQ table for the 4th of July. Don’t forget to take a look at The Bouqs website and check out all of the fresh cut bouquets for only $40.
