Can you believe this is the last day of 2019? It's been quite a year both in my personal life and in my blogging life. I've definitely seen some ups and some downs this year but for the most part it's been a pretty good year.
In my personal life I started my eighteenth year of teaching special education. While I love teaching it's been a little stressful this year because my teaching partner is out on medical leave and my facilitator got another job so I've been trying to fill the holes.
In happier news my son turned two this year and that has been just crazy. He does not sit still and is all over this house. He loves to sing and dance, play with cars and trucks, but mostly he enjoys hanging out with my husband and I. It's awesome to see how much he is learning. We recently figured out that he knows his colors and he's been trying to count as well. It's so fun!
We've been able to go on a few little trips this past year which was a lot of fun. We've celebrated birthdays and visited with family and just had an overall great year.
In regards to my blog I started my first sponsored week in 2019 with Spring Sweets Week and it was a huge success. I had such a great time that I'll be running it again this year during the last week of March. I was able to go to Cleveland, Ohio this summer to visit with Certified Angus Beef brand at their facility and got to see some of my favorite chefs and fellow bloggers. It was definitely a trip to remember. It was also the first time I was away overnight from my son.
I have a lot of fun things planned for 2020 but I'd love to hear what you are looking for from Hezzi-D's Books and Cooks this year. Feel free to leave me a comment about what recipes, DIY, or toddler things you would like to see this year.
Now for The Top 10 Most Popular Recipes of 2019. I have to say that I was a little surprised by some of these. I had three drinks on the list which was a big surprise. Another surprise is that I have three beef recipes in the top 10. While beef is always popular one of these is a sloppy joe recipe and another is a meatloaf recipe. What wasn't a surprise is that an Instant Pot recipe is one of my most popular this year and two dessert recipes made the list.
So counting down from 10, here are the Top 10 Most Popular Recipes of 2019 from Hezzi-D's Books and Cooks.
10. Jamaican Me Crazy Rum Cake
9. Coffee Rubbed Porterhouse Steaks with Red Wine Chocolate Sauce
