Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8 x 8 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl combine the apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, corn starch, cinnamon, and pecans. Mix well and add to the baking dish.
Pour the caramel sauce over top of the apple mixture.
In a medium bowl combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and pecans. Mix well.
Using your hands, mix the butter pieces into the flour mixture until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Sprinkle the topping over top of the apples.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Turn your oven to broil and broil for 1-2 minutes or until the top is dark golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
