Ingredients
For the brownies:

cocoa powder
1 1/4
c.
flour
1
teaspoons
baking powder
1/2
teaspoons
salt
1
c.
granulated sugar
1/2
c.
melted butter
2
eggs
1
teaspoons
vanilla
1/4
c.
strong brewed coffee
For the buttercream:
1/2
c.
butter
softened
2
teaspoons
milk
2
teaspoons
strong brewed coffee
2-3

powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spray an 8 x 8 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl combine the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well then set aside.
In a large bowl mix together the butter and sugar. Add in the eggs and mix until combined.
Stir in the vanilla.
Add half of the flour mixture to the butter mixture along with the brewed coffee. Mix well. Add remaining flour mixture and mix until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and cook for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool completely.
To make the frosting beat the butter in a large bowl. Add in the powdered sugar until a thick consistency is reached.
Add the milk and coffee and beat until smooth. Add more powdered sugar if needed.
Spread the frosting on top of the brownies and cut into 16 pieces.
