English Muffin Bread

This English Muffin Bread takes your favorite nooks and crannies muffins and turns it in to a delicious breakfast bread!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 3 T. melted butter divided

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine the water, yeast, salt, sugar, flour, and two tablespoons of melted butter. Mix until just combined.
  • Cover the bowl with a towel and allow to rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.  Using a spoon transfer the risen dough to the loaf pan. 
  • Cover the loaf pan with a towel and allow to rise for an additional hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Bake for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush the top with the remaining tablespoon of butter.
  • Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Cut into pieces and serve.
