Saltine Crusted Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 thin cut boneless pork chops
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz. Saltine crackers crushed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Place the eggs in a shallow dish and beat well.
  • In another shallow dish combine the crushed crackers, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • As soon as the butter is melted dip each pork chop into the egg mixture then press into the cracker mixture.
  • Fry the pork chops for 5-7 minutes per side in the pan or until the internal temperature reaches 155 degrees and the coating is golden brown.
