Ingredients

package yeast
I used Red Star Platinum Yeast

teaspoon
sugar
1/4
c.
warm water
1
c.
warm milk
1/4
c.
butter
melted and cooled
1
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
pepper
1
egg
beaten
2
Tablespoons
sugar
4
garlic cloves
minced
3 1/2 - 4

flour
1/2
c.
cheddar cheese
shredded
Instructions
In a large bowl combine the year, 1 teaspoon sugar, and warm water. Mix and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Add in the warm milk, butter, salt, pepper, egg, sugar, and garlic cloves. Mix well.
Add in the flour a half cup at a time until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 6-8 minutes, adding in flour as needed.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning once. Cover the bowl and let rise for 1 hour.
After 1 hour punch down the dough and divide in half. Divide each half into 10 pieces.
Spray 2 muffin tins and place the dough pieces into the muffin tins. Cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the rolls begin to brown. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
