Leftover Candy Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. leftover candy chopped (I used candy corn, M&M's, Twix, and Milky Way)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl combine the butter, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Add in the eggs one at a time stirring after each addition.
  • In a medium bowl combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until everything is well incorporated.
  • Fold in the chopped candies.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
  • Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into 21 brownies.
