Baked Apples with Caramel and Chocolate

Delicious Baked Apples filled with caramel and chocolate then topped off with whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 3 Tablespoons caramel bits
  • 3 Tablespoons chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • whipped cream
  • caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cut the apples in half and scoop out the core.
  • Place apples in the dish and fill each one with 1/2 tablespoon of caramel bits. Bake for 15 minutes or until the caramel is melted.
  • Top each apple with 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate chips then sprinkle with cinnamon and sea salt.
  • Bake for 5 minutes or until the chocolate is melted.
  • Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.
  • Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce if desired.
