Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
Cut the apples in half and scoop out the core.
Place apples in the dish and fill each one with 1/2 tablespoon of caramel bits. Bake for 15 minutes or until the caramel is melted.
Top each apple with 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate chips then sprinkle with cinnamon and sea salt.
Bake for 5 minutes or until the chocolate is melted.
Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.
Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce if desired.
