Caramel Turtle Cookies with Pecans

Ingredients

c.
flour

teaspoon
baking soda

teaspoon
salt
1
c.
2 sticks butter
1
c.
brown sugar
1/2
c.
sugar
2
eggs
1 1/2
teaspoons
vanilla
1 1/2
c.
chocolate chips
1/2
c.
caramel bits
3/4
c.
chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
In a large bowl cream the butter, brown sugar, and sugar.
Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until a dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips, caramel bits, and pecans.
Drop batter by heaping tablespoons onto a cookie sheet so they are about 3 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown and the middles are set.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
