Ingredients

package yeast

garlic cloves

Instructions
In a large bowl combine the year, 1 teaspoon sugar, and warm water. Mix and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Add in the warm milk, butter, salt, pepper, egg, sugar, and garlic cloves. Mix well.
Add in the flour a half cup at a time until a soft dough forms.
Add the cheddar cheese and mix until well combined.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 6-8 minutes, adding in flour as needed.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning once. Cover the bowl and let rise for 1 hour.
After 1 hour punch down the dough. Divide the dough in half then divide each half into 5 pieces.
Spray a round cake pan or an 8 x 8 baking pan. Place the balls of dough in the pan then cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the rolls begin to brown. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
