Chicken Thighs with Ginger Sesame Glaze

This is a delicious Asian chicken dish that is ready in 20 minutes! It has a tasty sweet and spicy sauce and is served with broccoli and rice.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced garlic scapes or green onions
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 teaspoons chile paste
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 skinless boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 c. broccoli florets
  • 2 c. rice

Instructions

  • Combine the garlic scapes through the chile paste in a shallow bowl. Mix well then add in the chicken. Toss to coat and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Heat a saute pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Add the chicken and the marinade to the pan and saute for 6-8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Add the broccoli to the pan and saute for 3 additional minutes.
  • Serve over top of rice.
