Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugar.
Add in the eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix well.
Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Scoop 3 tablespoons of dough at a time and roll into a ball. Place 3 inches apart on the baking sheet. Use the bottom of a drinking glass and press down on the center of the cookie dough.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the centers of the cookies have puffed up.
Remove from the oven and cool 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the frosting cream the butter in a large bowl.
Add in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
Add in the almond extract, milk, and 4 drops of pink food coloring and whisk until desired consistency is reached.
Spread on cooled cookies.
