Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 of a large onion chopped
  • 1 jalapeno seeds removed, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 small tomato seeded and diced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro

Instructions

  • Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out the insides and put in the food processor. Add in the jalapeno, onion, garlic, and cilantro. Pulse 4-5 times or until everything starts to blend.
  • Put the avocado mixture in a bowl and mix with tomato, lime juice, salt, pepper, and cumin. Mix well so that everything is combined but there is still some texture to the guacamole.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
