Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. oats
  • 1 c. butter softened
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 2 c. chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and oats. Mix well and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl cream together the butter and brown sugar. Add in the eggs and mix well.
  • Stir in the vanilla and milk.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake for 27-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
  • Cut into 18 bars and enjoy.
