Sauteed Kale

Tender sauteed kale made with bacon and vinegar.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 large bunch of kale chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon vinegar

Instructions

  • Place the skillet over medium high heat. Add the bacon and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from skillet and place on paper towel lined plate.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the kale to the bacon drippings in the pan.
  • Saute the kale for 5 minutes or until tender.
  • Add the salt, pepper, and garlic cloves and saute for another minute.
  • Add in the vinegar and stir to combine.
  • Crumble the cooked bacon and add it to the kale. Toss to combine. Serve warm.
