Thai Iced Tea

Thai Iced Tea combined black tea with a combination of spiced mixed with sweetened milk for a refreshing and flavorful beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. ice
  • 2 Tablespoons Thai tea mix
  • 2 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 3 Tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Place the brown sugar in a mug. Pour the boiling water over top of the Thai tea mix. Let steep 5 minutes.
  • Strain the tea out of the liquid and allow the tea to cool for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine the evaporated milk and the sweetened condensed milk and mix well. Freeze for 20 minutes.
  • Divide the ice between two glasses. Pour the cooled tea into the two glasses.
  • Remove the milk from the freezer and use a frother to froth the milk until it has doubled in size.
  • Pour the frothed milk on top of the two glasses of tea.
  • Stir before drinking.
