Cheddar Herb Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 c. cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoons sage

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix until a rough dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 3-4 minutes.
  • Roll into a ball and place in a bowl. Chill for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Sprinkle a cutting board with flour and roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shape.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits begin to brown and are crisp.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack.
