Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8 x 8 pan and set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl combine the butter and chocolate chips. Microwave in 20 seconds intervals, stirring after each interval, until both are melted and well combined. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine the flour, salt, ground coffee, sugar, and brown sugar.
Add the butter mixture to the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
Add the eggs, oil, and brewed coffee, and mix until well combined.
Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool completely.
To make the frosting put the butter in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix on medium speed until creamy.
Add in the remaining ingredients and mix on medium speed until well combined.
Frost the cooled brownies and let sit for 15 minutes.
Cut into 16 squares are serve.
