Cadbury Creme Egg Blondies

Soft and chewy blondies studded with chocolate chips and mini Cadbury creme egg halves make for a delightful Easter dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 c. chocolate chips
  • 12 mini Cadbury eggs cut into thirds
  • 3 Tablespoons sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla and mix well.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and all but 9 of the Cadbury egg thirds.
  • Spread the batter into an 8 x 8 baking dish. Press the remaining 9 Cadbury egg pieces into the top of the batter in the pan. Sprinkle with the sprinkles if desired.
  • Bake for 23-25 minutes or until the top of the blondies is golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • Cut into 12 squares and enjoy!
