Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a medium bowl dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until bubbly, about 10 minutes.
Stir in the flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a ball. Place crust to a lightly greased pizza pan dusted with cornmeal.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread with desired toppings. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is brown.
Remove from oven and cool 2 minutes before cutting.
