Apple Spice Cake Mix Waffles

With just a handful of ingredients these sweet and spiced Apple Spice Cake Mix Waffles are a delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix white or yellow
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Heat a waffle iron and spray with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl combine all of the ingredients. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour a half cup of batter onto the waffle iron. If needed spoon in a little bit more.
  • Close the waffle iron and cook according to the waffle iron directions.
  • Remove and top with butter and syrup or whipped cream and apple slices.
