In a large bowl cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.Using a stand mixer or

In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
Fold in the walnuts.
Pour the dough out onto a sheet of plastic wrap and wrap it up in a ball form. Chill for one hour.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide in half. Place each half on a sheet of waxed paper. Shape the dough into a 6 log using the wax paper to help you roll it up.
Twist the edges of the waxed paper to seal it. Place in the freezer for 2 hours (or overnight). If storing longer then overnight wrap in plastic wrap as well.
Remove from freezer and let it sit out for 5 minutes to make it easier to slice.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl combine the cinnamon, sugar, and sea salt.
Roll the logs in the sugar mixture pressing the cinnamon/sugar onto outside of log.
Slice ¼ inch thick and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
Cool completely on a wire rack.
