Apple Cinnamon Bread

Ingredients

For the bread:

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 c. milk

For the streusel:

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 apples diced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a bread pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large bowl combine the sugar and butter. Add in the eggs and mix well. Stir in the vanilla.
  • In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Add half of the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix well. Add in the milk and stir until combined. Mix in the remaining flour and stir until combined.
  • Fold in the apples.
  • Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour or until the bread is cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. Slice and store in an air tight container for 5 days.
