Lemon Parmesan Pita Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 pitas
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons za'atar
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Using a pizza cutter cut the pitas into 8 slices. Place the slices on the baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl combine the olive oil and lemon juice. Using a pastry brush, brush the pita slices with the mixture.
  • In another small bowl combine the lemon zest, garlic powder, oregano, za'atar, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well then sprinkle over top of the pitas.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and allow them to cool for 10 minutes. Place in a zip top bag or air tight container and store for up to 1 week.
