Who doesn’t like a delicious steak on the grill? Whenever we are in the mood for steaks we choose Certified Angus Beef brand as long as we can. We recently ordered a package online and received 12 of their steaks including 4 ribeye steaks, 4 filets, and 4 strip steaks.
You may have heard that I recently had a baby. It’s been hard to find the time to menu plan and make dinner. One thing that has helped is making things on the grill. I’ll take the meat out and put it in the refrigerator to thaw and then make a quick side dish while my husband grills.
We had out 2 Certified Angus Beef brand strip steaks last week but I didn’t have a rub for them. I quickly did a search online and found this easy steak rub. It has just 7 ingredients and they are all things that we keep on hand so I mixed it up in just a few minutes, rubbed it on the steaks, and my husband fired up the grill.
They smelled amazing as they cooked on the grill. One thing I love about Certified Angus Beef brand steaks is that they don’t tend to shrivel up on the grill like other steaks do. They also have so much flavor and are super tender.
When my husband brought them in to the house my mouth started watering. We each quickly cut up a piece and the steak about melted in our mouths. The rub was delicious. I could taste the salt, garlic, and pepper, and the other flavors lingered in the background. This is a delicious last minute rub perfect for any cut of steak.
