I received an Air Fryer from COSORI for my honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Let me start by saying I tried an Air Fryer my friend lent me several years ago. I liked it, it made crispy fries, but it wasn’t something I could see myself owning. It’s pretty big and I didn’t think I had the counter space for it especially if I wasn’t going to use it that often.
Fast forward several years and I have a hungry toddler who doesn’t really like to eat the same foods we eat. Making dinner is more difficult and takes forever. I received an Air Fryer in November and threw in some chicken nuggets and fries on a whim and man did it make dinner so much easier! I started putting J’s food in the Air Fryer and used the oven and stove top for ours and it’s made life so much easier.
My only problem was that the Air Fryer basket was small and round so I couldn’t fit much in it and it was hard to clean. So when I was offer a COSORI Air Fryer to try I jumped at the chance! This one is so awesome. The rectangular surface makes it easy to fit in a lot more food without it overlapping. I also have to say it makes cleaning the Air Fryer easier. While I had some trouble getting the grease off the other one this one cleans up like a dream! We love this COSORI Air Fryer and use it absolutely every day. If you are looking for one this is the one to try.
So last week it was hot outside. I don’t think I turned on my oven for over a week because I couldn’t stand the heat. I had tofu out for dinner and was going to pan fry it when I found a recipe for Air Fryer Crispy Tofu. I was intrigued because tofu is not something I’ve made in the Air Fryer. I gave the recipe a try and put the tofu into the Air Fryer.
When I looked in to check on it the tofu looked awesome! I could tell it was getting nice and crisp. While that worked I sauteed some vegetables on the stove top and made some rice in the microwave. When the tofu was finished it was perfectly cooked and crispy. I put down the rice, then the veggies, and finally the tofu in a dish and spoon a sesame soy sauce on top of it.
It was so good! The tofu had a lot of flavor and it was cooked really well. My husband liked it a lot as well. I’m thinking we are going to be making our tofu this way a lot because it takes a long time to crisp it up on the stove top or in the oven. This would be a great way to make tofu fries for an appetizer as well!
