A few of my favorite recipes from this book are the Thai Beef Meatballs with Peanut Dipping Sauce and Orange Shortcakes. But the one that I tried that was the best were the Cranberry Maple Squares. They have a layer of shortbread cookie topped with a custard like filling that is full of cranberries and pecans. They are sweet and crunchy with just a touch of tartness from the dried cranberries.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
