All you need is some paper, either crayons or paint, and your toddlers hands to make this adorable Carrot Craft for Toddlers that would make a great Easter or spring time craft.
Over the last year I’ve been home a lot more and while I love running around and playing with J sometimes we need to sit down and work on other things. Lately I’ve been trying to incorporate some fine motor activities and crafts into our days as well.
This Easy Carrot Craft is a fun activity that doesn’t require many materials and is great for kids ages 2-5. You just need a sheet of white paper, a sheet of green paper, some crayons, and glue. That’s it!
Give your child a piece of white paper and have them color on it with orange, yellow, and brown crayons. They can get crazy on the paper because you are going to cut out carrots from the paper.  I was able to cut out four carrots from one sheet of paper.
Then trace the child’s hand four times on the green paper and cut it out. If your child is able to use scissors this would be a great time for them to try cutting out the handprints or the carrots.
Once everything is cut out you can simply glue the handprints to the carrots to finish them off. If you want to glue them to paper and make a carrot garden that works too!
