Spring is here and the sun is shining! I’ve been getting into the spirit of spring by using all sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables. While I love eating fresh fruits by themselves, I’ve always been a sucker for a great fruit dip. I’ve got an easy one with only 2 ingredients that is absolutely delicious!
Can you guess what ingredients might be in this simple fruit dip? It’s simply a combination of Musselman’s Apple Butter and marshmallow cream! That’s it! The apple butter gives it that classic spiced apple flavor and the marshmallow cream makes it fluffy and delicious. Since these are two ingredients I always have in my cabinet this will be a stand by recipe for when I have unexpected guest.
I served the fruit dip with fun fruit kabobs made with fresh pineapples, strawberries, and grapes. I think that bananas and apples would be delicious with this as well. If you are looking for something other then fruit to dip I’d suggest graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
Speaking of spring, the flowers have started to bloom in my yard! I have a few crocus and a ton of daffodils. - 1 c. Musselman's Apple Butter
- 1 c. marshmallow cream
- Fruit for dipping
- Place the apple butter and marshmallow cream in a bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
- Serve with fruit kabobs or graham cracks.
