It's hot in the summer. Often times I don't want to turn on the oven to make my breakfast or lunch. I want something filling but I want it to be cold since it's so humid out. This week the Sunday Supper family is having a Summer Chillin' event to help beat the summer heat. That means all of our recipes this week are foods that can be served cold. Perfect for this time of year!
In the summer one of my go to foods is fruit. It's easy to grab as a snack and fruit always tastes the best in the summer when it comes fresh from the farms. While I often eat it as is, sometimes I like to dip my fruit. I've dipped it into chocolate and sometimes I just dip it into Lite Cool Whip for a low calorie snack. Other times I want something a little more fun.
This white chocolate fruit dip is easy to make with only 3 ingredients, all of which I usually have on hand at my house! If you don't have them on hand, they'll likely cost you around $3 for the lot of them. The ingredients are mixed together and then placed in the refrigerated. That's it! A delicious fruit dip that's both light and fluffy and tastes of white chocolate.
If you want a different flavor, simply change the flavor of pudding you are using! I've also made this with the lemon pudding mix and it's pretty awesome!

During the summer months, anything with less than 3 ingredients is for me!
Julie @ Texan New Yorker
I love the white chocolate! This brings back fond memories of my grandmother always letting me dip fresh strawberries into cool whip or whipped cream (unbeknownst to my parents) and I could usually clear an entire carton of the cool whip. 🙂

Oh man I totally love dipping strawberries into cool whip! YUM!

WOW! I love fruit dips too - and I love how versatile this one is, I would easily use it for a kids party, for sure! This would also be awesome for some of the tart berries that come in at the beginning of the berry season - thanks for sharing!
