Mother’s Day is quickly approaching! I don’t know about you but since my son has been born we usually have a nice breakfast just the three of us in the morning. It’s not something I usually do but it’s special for the day.
How do you celebrate the day? Before I had my own family my brother and I liked to take my mom out to brunch or prepare a meal for her. Now we usually pick a weekend and celebrate either before or after the day so that we can spend Mother’s Day with our own family.
I love my mom and am glad that I text her daily. For years before she retired we were both special education teachers so it was always nice to bounce ideas off of one another.
We are also both big bargain shoppers and share weekly deals. My mom is always there when I need her to be and I couldn’t ask for a better mom!
